A sweet Edwardian era 14K yellow and rose gold reversible locket pendant that spins and opens. On one side is a horseshoe while the other side depicts a swallow sitting on a branch ready to take flight. The locket spins back and forth between the two motifs easily and clicks into place. A timeless subject with a pretty patina.
Metal: 14K Yellow Gold (acid tested)
Weight: 8.3 grams
Measurements: 1.5 inches (including bail) by 0.8 inches
Condition: In very good antique condition with minor surface wear. One section of the beaded border is missing now. There appears to have been some repair work done inside the locket, as well as around the bail. The locket still opens and shuts securely and easily spins around. The bail appears to be a newer replacement, which can be changed for a different bail if requested. Please note the chain in the photos is NOT included with this listing.
