An original 18th century Georgian era porcelain dog seal charm. The dog appears to be a hound in a sitting condition. The agate seal is carved as a profile of a man with a laurel wreath on his head. All set in 18K gold with a 22K gold wash. These seals were often given as love tokens. Many have been lost over the centuries due to the fragile nature of porcelain, so this particular piece is quite rare considering its excellent condition.
