A beautiful Victorian-era crescent brooch showcasing sparkly old cut diamonds and natural pearls. Crescent moons were thought to represent feminine power, while forget me nots symbolized remembrance, loyalty, and eternal love. The outer edge of the crescent is lined with bright old mine cut diamonds, while the second row of diamonds is all rose cuts. There is a total weight of approximately 3 carats in diamonds. They are H/I in color and VS/SI1 in clarity overall.
In the center is a forget me not with pearl and diamond accents. Three button shaped pearls are arranged for the petals. Each measures about 5.7 mm in diameter. Rose cut diamonds are set along the leaves, and in the center of the flower. The brooch measures 1.2 inches wide.
A timeless piece of jewelry that would be fabulous on a jacket lapel or sweater. Easily convertible to a pendant as well!
