An early French Victorian-era silver over 18K gold crescent moon brooch with rose cut diamond accents. The shape of this particular crescent is quite ornate and lovely. Rose cut diamonds are difficult to measure but there are about 0.25 carats in this piece. There are French hallmarks on the tips of the crescent as well as on the pin - a crab for 800 purity silver and a horse head on the pin and c-clasp for 18K gold purity marks. We can easily convert this brooch into a necklace for you so please get in touch to discuss!
