An Edwardian era opal and diamond pin with a pretty scrolled design crafted in platinum topped 18K yellow gold. The center white opal displays bright yet subtle flashes of red, orange, yellow, blue, green, and purple - the entire spectrum of the rainbow. It is surrounded by very bright old mine cut diamonds that are bezel set with delicate milgrain details. Rose cut diamonds also line the outer edges of the pin. The diamonds weigh a total of approximately 1.1 carats. The back stem is stamped “750” for 18K gold purity marks. A lovely piece to add to your jacket lapel or sweater!
