A beautiful French Art Deco era diamond and emerald brooch designed as a scroll or column. The diamonds are a mix of carre cuts, old European cuts, and single cuts. They are all bright and near-colorless stones weighing a total of approximately 3.2 carats. Cabochon emeralds are set along each corner of the brooch, each stone measuring approximately 3.5 mm in diameter. A ring of black enamel is added beneath each emerald.
The French dog’s head hallmark for platinum is visible along the top edge of the brooch, as well as on the pin. This is a beautiful example of Art Deco style, workmanship, and quality!
