A rare and lovely French Victorian era pearl and 18K gold longuard chain with lozenge shaped stations.  Measuring 63 inches of wearable length, this chain can be wrapped around the neck two or three times.  There are French eagle head and rhinoceros head stamps for 18K gold purity marks.

Metal: 18K Yellow Gold

Weight: 22.3 grams

Pearl: Approx 4 mm wide

Measurements: 63” long (not including dog clip) with 2.5 mm wide links

Markings: French eagle head and rhinoceros head stamps

Condition: In very good antique condition with original working clasps and only minor surface wear consistent with age.  Please note the pendant in the photo is NOT included with this listing.
