An absolutely fabulous Retro era brooch showcasing sparkling diamonds and orange-hued citrine. Crafted in heavy 14K rose gold, this substantial pin still feels feminine with its flowing lines and bright colors. The square cut citrine are quite lovely with a yellowish orange hue. They are all eye clean and weigh a total of approximately 6.3 carats. A row of old mine cut diamonds are set in between the citrine. They range from G/J in color and VS/SI in clarity. Three large old mine cut diamonds are also wrapped around the bottom of the pin. They are G/H in color and VS in clarity, overall. There is a total diamond weight of approximately 2.75 carats.
The back of the pin is marked with Hungarian gold hallmarks for 14K and can be dated between 1937-1961. There is also a makers mark but we have been unable to discover which company made this beauty. A truly historical piece that would make a great addition to your collection.
