A large Victorian-era amethyst pendant and brooch surrounded by old cut diamonds and split pearls. The center amethyst gemstone displays a velvety royal lavender hue with subtle hints of violet and pink under natural light. It measures an impressive 33.5 mm long by 25.5 mm wide by 12.3 mm deep, weighing approximately 51 carats.
The amethyst is surrounded by split pearls and old mine cut diamonds, adding depth and that extra sparkle! There are a total of approximately 1.12 carats in near colorless diamonds. The pearls measure about 2.5 mm each.
The back of the pendant is stamped “15CT” for gold purity and is likely English in origin. The bail drops down so that the piece can also be worn as a brooch. A timeless and versatile piece perfect for your collection!
