A Victorian-era circa 1848 anchor brooch with pretty details and an agate drop. The anchor has nice engraved work all throughout the front. A chain is attached along one side of the anchor, with an agate that dangles. The back of the anchor is stamped “H&T” for makers mark and “REGd 30 MARCH 1848” for the date of the piece.
The piece opens very interestingly - the bottom of the anchor slides down to open and then slides up to close the pin.
