Midcentury GIA 2.2 Carat Sapphire, Diamond East to West Platinum Ring

A stunning midcentury sapphire and diamond ring set in platinum. The central sapphire has a gorgeous cornflower blue color with eye clean clarity. It weighs approximately 2.2 carats and measures 7.1 mm by 8.5 mm. The stone is certified by GIA (Gemological Institute of America) as being a natural sapphire with only heat treatment. It is set east to west, giving the ring a modern feel.

The platinum setting has split shoulders that is set with brilliant cut diamonds, all G/H in color and VS in clarity overall. The shank has pretty engraved leaf motif details.
