Vintage 18K Gold, 1 Carat Diamond, Enamel Sea Lion Brooch, Statement Circus Pin

A large circus-inspired brooch of a sea lion or walrus crafted in 18K gold with enamel and diamond accents.  The sea lion is wearing a polka dot blue and white jacket sitting atop a red striped ball.  Diamonds are set along his tie as well as the ball.  There is a total of approximately 1 carat in brilliant cut diamonds that are H/I in color and SI in clarity, overall.  A textured gold finish completes the great dimensional feel of this piece. This statement-making piece measures 2.6 inches long by 1.4 inches wide and weighs a substantial 31.4 grams.  Stamped "ITALY" in the back.
