French Art Nouveau Frederic de Vernon Virgin Mary 18K Gold and Diamond Pendant

An incredible Art Nouveau era French medal of the Virgin Mary by renowned medalist and sculptor Frederic de Vernon.  Modeled in 18K gold, set with rose cut diamonds and striking blue plique a jour enamel.  When placed next to a light source, the enamel creates a stained glass effect!  She measures 1.2” long (without the bail) by 0.9” wide and weighs 10.5 grams.  In amazing condition for being over 110 years old with full French hallmarks on the bail.
