An ultra rare midcentury 14K yellow gold and enameled landscape bracelet. There are 4 panels of enameled scenery, depicting various cityscapes in bright and vivid colors. Most likely a souvenir during someone’s travels in Paris, France, the enameling is quite detailed and intricate. The colors chosen are unusual and visually interesting.
Each panel is set within a gold frame with open metal work. The gold frames are thick and each has its own design, with hinges installed between the frames. Oval cut pink topazes are set in their own separate frames, weighing a total of approximately 7 carats. The bracelet is 7 inches long and 1 inch wide, and weighs a substantial 49.9 grams. Despite its heft, the smooth and rounded edges make it very comfortable on the wrist. There are numbers etched into the tongue of the bracelet, most likely serial numbers.
