Victorian 18K Gold and Pearl Thistle, Flower Brooch

A delicate Victorian era 18K gold brooch featuring two flowers, most likely thistles, that are intertwined within a border of pearls.  The handcrafted gold work in this piece is absolutely incredible - each gold wire is woven into a net-like design.  The pearls were then individually threaded through the netting to complete the brooch.  A lovely piece to add to your jacket lapel or sweater!

Metal: 18K Yellow Gold (acid tested)

Measurements: 1.25 inches long by 2.25 inches wide

Markings: None

Condition: In good antique condition with some surface wear and slight openings in some of the “netted” gold.
