Vintage 18K Gold Opal Diamond Cluster Cocktail Ring, October Birthstone

A vintage 18K yellow gold half dome statement ring studded with glowing opals and bright diamonds. The center opal displays a bluish body color with vibrant flashes of green and violet. It is surrounded by a twisted gold design shaped like flower petals. Six smaller opal cabochons are set in each petal with brilliant cut diamond accents in between each opal. The diamonds are incredibly clean and weigh a total of approximately 0.18 carats. The inside of the ring is marked “18K MDD” for gold purity and an unidentified maker's mark.

Condition: In very good vintage condition with some minor surface wear. The opals are in great shape and the gold has developed a rich patina.
