Vintage Sugilite and Diamond 18K Gold Statement Ring

A very cool 18K yellow gold vintage ring showcasing a violet gemstone called sugilite surrounded by a row of diamonds. The unusual central stone has an unusual purple color - a gorgeous bright violet with flecks of pink and blue. It is cut in an oval cabochon shape and measures 12 mm long by 4 mm wide. A row of white single cut diamonds are set around the purple gem. The diamonds weigh approximately 0.17 carats. All set in a glossy yellow gold, this ring has great finger coverage and a comfortable feel on the hand.
