A vintage circa 1940s sapphire and diamond bypass ring crafted in platinum. The center blue sapphire displays a deep ocean blue color and is free from eye visible inclusions. It weighs approximately 1.6 carats. It is surrounded by a swirl of bright old mine cut diamonds with some later replaced modern brilliant cut diamonds. The diamonds are H/I/J in color and VS/SI in clarity overall, weighing a total of approximately 1.7 carats. The inside of the ring is stamped “PLAT” for platinum marks.

Condition: In very good vintage condition with some minor surface wear. The ring appears to have been previously resized with some diamonds later replaced with more modern stones. We can ship the ring with an independent appraisal report if requested!
