A vintage circa 1940s sapphire and diamond ring with a modern feel set within a platinum mounting.  The central sapphire displays a captivating violet blue color and weighs 2.84 carats.  Brilliant cut diamonds are set along the shoulders of the ring for a nice touch of sparkle.  The inside of the ring is stamped “10% IRID PLAT” for platinum marks.  A lovely ring to add to any collection, or a great choice as an alternative engagement ring for that daring bride.
