Vintage Malachite Intaglio of Saturn Cronos in 14K Gold Brooch Pin

This is a unique vintage malachite intaglio pin that features Saturn, the Roman god of agriculture, wealth, and plenty, as well as time. Cronos is the Greek god equivalent. Saturn can be identified by the scythe and wings that you see in the carving. Here he holds the scythe upside down.

This is a beautiful malachite piece with its signature green swirls. The brooch is crafted in 14K gold and the border adds a lovely double braided detail.
