An Art Deco era 18K gold and platinum pendant of a mother and child, possibly a religious medal of Mary and baby Jesus, carved in mother-of-pearl with rose cut diamond and pearl accents. The luminous mother of pearl is expertly carved with delicate wire work behind it, almost designed like a cathedral or stained glass window. The back of the pendant is engraved with a date “30-5-923” most likely for May 30, 1923.
The Art Deco chain is made in sterling silver and pairs perfectly with the pendant. A lovely piece to add to your collection!
